Apology Accepted.........?

I gave in........ I finally apologised to my Aunt Mary, for slamming her car door ahwile back. When I had apologised to her, she didn't say anything like '...apology accepted' or '...thank you for apologising', I'm at a total loss for my Aunt Mary didn't even smile! Pathetic!! My conscience is clear.
